An applied course, in association with SIGN/University of York, covering the fundamentals of Virtual Production. This course aims to create a pathway for people from a diverse range of backgrounds to enter local careers in the Film, TV and Games industries. Ideally each applicant will have a basic knowledge of UnReal or a similar software, be a Gamer and/or have some knowledge of the film/tv production business.

Through a mixture of onsite learning and industry visits individuals will gain an insight and understanding of virtual production, how these technologies are revolutionizing production, and how the virtual production volume and stage operate. They will also better understand the film-making process, the production pipeline, key software and equipment required and volumetric and motion capture techniques.
