Places on the course are generously supported by ScreenSkills who also manage 10 week placements for each successful applicant.

This course has been designed and is delivered by TV and film industry professionals with first-hand, practical knowledge and experience.

Our online training modules are readily accessible to accountants across the UK and enhanced by live tutorials.  Through this course participants will gain a broad understanding of how the HETV, and film industries work and a detailed understanding of the role and requirements of a Production Accountant.

The April cohort starts on April 28th and is led by Financial Controller, Maryllis Gonzales (MG.)

There are 4 online live Q&As led by MG and supporting the pre-recorded modules, these will take place at 6pm on May 3, May 10, May 16 & May 24 2023.

MG is a former journalist raised in Venezuela who moved to London in 2002 to pursue a career in film. She got into accounts, a little bit by chance and, without any formal accounting qualifications, managed to work through the ranks from junior to Financial Controller.

Maryllis’ recent credits include Nowhere (Film – Netflix Original) and The Essex Serpent (TV – Apple Studios).

Other tutors on the course include Producer Alistair Maclean-Clark, Financial Controller Carmen Rosa, Line Producer Thea Harvey, Drama Producer Gina Cronk, Diversity champion Lauren McCallum and life coach Jenny Burbage all of whom have a wealth of experience in the Film and TV industries.
